Hey there, tea friends! I recently had a nice chat with Joel Rheinberger on ABC radio, Northern Tasmania. We chatted about my personal journey with tea, which started about nine years ago amidst the busy city life of Beijing.

I stumbled upon the peace and solitude in making and drinking tea. This personal ritual soon turned into a communal affair as I began inviting friends and family to share in these quiet moments. In our conversation, I shared about the six main types of Chinese tea we offer at 'A Moment of Tea': green, white, yellow, oolong, black, and post-fermented. They're all unique in flavor, health benefits, and the way they are brewed - all depending on how much they are fermented.

We also discussed the different cultural practices when it comes to tea. The British, for example, add milk to counterbalance the bitterness of powdered tea, while in China we prefer to use loose leaves, which naturally create a balanced taste without the need for milk.
